Dr. Wang received her Ph.D. in Transportation Planning and Management from Dalian Maritime University, China, in 2021. Following her Ph.D., Dr. Wang conducted postdoctoral research at Beihang university at Beijing from 2021 to 2023. During this period, she expanded her work on smart transportation technologies and their impact on urban planning and management.
Dr. Wang joined Dalian Maritime University as a lecturer in March 2023. Her research primarily focuses on the integration of smart technologies in urban transportation systems and maritime logistics, with an emphasis on sustainability and efficiency. She aims to reveal the application of advanced logistics technologies and sustainable practices in port operations, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and enhancing supply chain resilience.
Dr Wang has been involved in some collaborative research projects financed by various instances, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. She has made substantial contributions to prestigious journals, including Transportation Research Part C/D/E, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation systems, and Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology.
