Dr. Chenrui Qu studied transportation planning and management at School of Transportation Management, Dalian Maritime University. In 2020, she obtained her Engineering Doctorate from Dalian Maritime University. Presently, She is an Associate Professor of Dalian Maritime University. She is mainly engaged in the field of green port, port logistics and supply chain management. Facing the practical difficulties in port logistics system, cooperative operation models and incentive mechanism for port logistics system are proposed to serve the synergistic development and robust operation of multimodal transportation. An integrated coordinated management strategy of multi-energy sources for advanced ports is proposed for green port development. She has made contributions to port and logistics industry through research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, provincial and ministerial government funding agencies, and also published more than 10 papers on operations research journals, transportation journals, shipping economics journals, etc. She has also garnered research awards and prizes, including, Science and Technology Progress Award of China Federation of Logistics & purchasing, Science and Technology Progress Award of China Institute of Navigation, third PhD Thesis (the MEL ‘Springer-Palgrave-Macmillan’ Prize) in the 8th Maritime Economics & Logistics (MEL) PhD Competition.
